CMS, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, determines that the Medicare HCPCS codes to bill the four Durable Medical Equipment Regional Carriers (DMERCs) are:

• A4356 External urethral clamp or compression device (not to be used for catheter clamp), each.
• A4335 Incontinence supply; miscellaneous

Now that GTU has received this determination we are now able to submit a request to CMS for one specific code for billing purposes for the ActiCuf Compression Pouch, instead of the two semi-generic codes currently being used.

We anticipate our request to be reviewed in 2008 and hope to have a determination by the end of 2008, beginning of 2009.
