David W. Anderson, P.E.

Vice President of Research & Development




Mr. Anderson has been with GT Urological, LLC since its inception. He is responsible for the research, design and development of the ActiCuf™ Compression Pouch and the several artificial urinary sphincter implants currently being investigated. Additionally, he is responsible for intellectual property, grant and quality systems management.


Mr. Anderson was previously with Timm Medical Technologies, Inc. as Director of Research and Development. Over the past 20 years he has held Research and Development engineering positions with Iotek, Inc. a urologic drug delivery device start-up company, DaVinci Medical, Inc. a laparoscopic device start-up company, Endotronics, Inc. a biotechnology start-up and American Medical Systems, Inc. where he was involved in a host of projects in endourology, impotence and incontinence treatment. He holds 8 US patents and has presented on technical matters at several different forums. He holds bachelors degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Physiology from the University of Minnesota.
